| Index of industrial production(IIP) is a new scheme recently taken up by the department during 1999-2000 . comparable state level IIP is necessary to study the comperative performance of State/UT in respect of industrial sectors throughout tje country.This scheme has been taken up under the directions of the central statistical organization(CSO).in the context of nagaland we restrict to only manufacturing sector as the others ie electricity, mining are very negligible. |
